Pascal Janvier never planned on becoming a vigneron. Though his parents has a vineyard, they did not make their own wine. Instead Pascal decided to go to school for butchery. However, at 30 years old he decided to study winemaking in Amboise. Today him and his wife Dominique rent 66 parcels of land throughout the Loire and farm it entirely themselves.
