BIwai Tradition is a blended Japanese whisky from Mars Shinshu distillery in Nagano. It's a blend of 70% malted barley and 30% corn and is aged 3–12 years with an average age of 5 years. It's aged primarily in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks; wine, port and new oak may be incorporated for consistency.
