A blend of Xarel-lo and Muscat, one aged in stainless steel and the other in amphora pots, mixed together and then topped with a bottle cap. Bright and citrus flavors and light easy bubbles coat your mouth with a beautiful dry finish.

There is something slightly absurd about a wine of this elegance and class being put into a cheap screw-top liter bottle and then essentially given away. Every Schreiner virtue is there: silky texture, bright and crunchy berry flavour shot through with an iron tone, and a stubbornly long finish.

In the 1990s, seeking an agrarian-bohemian lifestyle, Anne and her late husband Marc grew enamored with the the Domaine le Murmurium estate in the Côte de Ventoux village of Mormoiron. So they bought it and began living in an abandoned farmhouse nestled in the rolling hills. The domaine—whose name is Latin for "The Buzzing Song of Bees”—also contained 15 hectares of vineyards.

I asked Serena for a description of this wine and she said it's "light and delicate but then all of the sudden it's like Pow! Pow! Pow!" There were hand movements involved but I can't really do justice to them with words. This stuff is great.
