Founded in 1980 by Giambattista Cilia, Cirino Strano and Giusto Occhipinti - they decided to name the winery after their last initials. The winery itself dates back to the 1880's and they have worked hard to preserve the culture surrounding it.

Chateau Coujan is a fifth-generation family winery located in the Languedoc-Roussillon part of southern France. The Guy family has owned this winery since 1868, and Florence, the current owner is currently running the property.
