Vinos Pijoan Aniversari Zinfandel

Super limited wine from the Valle de Guadalupe!

This Zinfandel vineyard was planted in 1972 by David Bibayoff. It is a dry-farmed old vine Zin, something very atypical nowadays in an area as arid as the Valle de Guadalupe. The Bibayoff family are descendants of the Russian Molokan families that settled in the Valle de Guadalupe at the beginning of the 20th century.

Unfiltered, chillable-if-you-want, organic red.

Profoundly aromatic. Blackberry, date pie, fig, dark chocolate, forest with smoky notes from the fireplace and cold climates. Wet ground and rain.
